SC-ST-3METER is a 10Gb Fiber Optic Cable, SC/ST, Multi-mode – 3 Meter (62.5/125 or 50/125 Type). Matching on sight is unreliable here. The part number is what determines whether it will work in a given chassis.
Matching the fibre. Match four things: the connector at each end, the fibre grade, the length, and the polarity where the cable is MPO. Grade is where money is lost — multimode OM3 and OM4 look identical and support very different distances at higher rates, and single-mode will not work on multimode optics at all. For MPO trunks, polarity method A, B or C has to be consistent across the whole channel or the link simply will not come up.
