The ASUS DSL-N16 (SKU: DSL-N16) is a single-band VDSL/ADSL modem router designed for home and small office connectivity. It integrates DSL modem functionality with wireless routing, making it suitable for broadband environments using ADSL, VDSL, or Ethernet WAN.
This device supports IEEE 802.11n wireless standard with speeds up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. As a result, it delivers stable connectivity for basic internet usage, browsing, and streaming. In addition, it supports multiple SSIDs, which allows segmented wireless networks for different users or applications.
The router supports VDSL2, ADSL2/2+, and ADSL standards. Therefore, it ensures compatibility with a wide range of DSL service providers. It also includes an Ethernet WAN port, which allows it to operate as a standalone wireless router. This adds flexibility for fiber or cable deployments.
