The Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 12F (SKU: ES-12F) is a fully managed Layer 2 fiber switch designed for enterprise, SMB, and WISP deployments. It delivers high-density fiber connectivity, making it ideal for aggregation, distribution, and long-distance networking applications.
This switch features 12× Gigabit SFP ports. As a result, it supports flexible fiber connections using a variety of SFP modules for single-mode or multi-mode fiber deployments.
In addition, the ES-12F includes 4× Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports. Therefore, it provides copper connectivity for management access or integration with standard Ethernet devices.
The switch runs EdgeSwitch firmware. It supports advanced Layer 2 switching features such as VLANs, QoS, link aggregation (LACP), spanning tree protocols, and port isolation. As a result, it enables efficient traffic management and network segmentation.
