UA2SVORECA02 is a contact centre agent licence for the eSpace unified communications platform, covering the 101 to 250 agents band. Huawei’s own description of it is: Voice Recording Agent License (101-250 agents). The eSpace unified communications platform is Huawei’s on-premises unified communications and contact centre software.

Contact centre software is licensed per agent position, and Huawei banded its agent licences by volume: the part number you need depends on which band your agent count falls into, not just how many you want. That is the commonest reason an order for these comes back wrong.

Mind the band. Because these are sold in volume bands rather than as a simple per-seat count, ordering the wrong band is easy and the licence will not stretch. Where this platform stands. Huawei has published an end-of-life announcement covering the eSpace unified communications platform, and the product no longer appears in its current catalogue. How this kind of licence is actually delivered, which is where most of the friction is. On-premises Huawei UC licences are not a code you type in. They come as a licence file tied to the specific system — its serial or equipment number — and matched to a software version. Three consequences worth knowing before you order. The file will not work on a different chassis, so replacing hardware means a rehost rather than a reinstall. It has to match the release the system is running, so a licence issued against one version may be refused by another. And the existing licence file matters, because new entitlement is usually issued as a replacement file covering the whole system rather than as a separate addition. That is why the first thing we ask for is the equipment number and the current licence file, not the part number.

A little context on the line, because it explains the pricing. eSpace was Huawei’s on-premises enterprise voice, contact centre and video business. Huawei retired it in stages between 2019 and 2021 and did not replace it like for like: the contact centre energy went into AICC, its cloud and AI offering, and conferencing became CloudLink and IdeaHub. There is no on-premises IP PBX successor. That matters commercially in both directions — nobody is manufacturing competition for these parts, and nobody is manufacturing more of them either.

That is not a reason to walk away. These systems are still running in plenty of places, and the realistic choice for most owners is between extending what works and a full replacement project — which for telephony is rarely small. Keeping an existing deployment licensed and supported is a legitimate thing to want, and it is most of what we do on this platform.
