The Juniper EX2200-24T-4G is a compact, cost-effective Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet switch designed for enterprise access networks, branch offices, and wiring closet deployments. Powered by Juniper’s Junos OS, it delivers reliable switching, basic routing, and enterprise-grade features in a 1 RU form factor with low power consumption and quiet operation — making it suitable for office environments.
This model features 24× 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports for user/device connectivity and 4× Gigabit SFP uplink ports for fiber connections to aggregation or core switches. Unlike PoE variants, the “T” model does not support PoE, making it ideal for standard data-only deployments.
The EX2200-24T-4G supports Virtual Chassis technology, enabling up to 4 switches to operate as a single logical device, simplifying management and scaling. It also includes key enterprise features such as VLANs, QoS, access control, and basic Layer 3 routing (static routing and RIP), providing flexibility for growing networks.
With a switching capacity of ~56 Gbps and forwarding performance of 41.7 Mpps, the EX2200-24T-4G ensures efficient handling of typical enterprise traffic loads while maintaining stable and predictable performance.
