The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 8 PoE 150W (SKU: US-8-150W) is a high-performance Layer 2 managed switch designed for SMB, enterprise edge, and WISP deployments. It delivers robust PoE capabilities combined with Gigabit switching and centralized UniFi management.
This switch features 8× Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, all capable of delivering PoE output. It supports both 802.3af/at PoE+ and 24V passive PoE, making it highly versatile for powering a wide range of devices including UniFi access points, IP cameras, and wireless radios.
The device provides a total PoE budget of up to ~130W (from a 150W power supply), allowing multiple high-power devices to be powered simultaneously.
In addition, the US-8-150W includes 2× Gigabit SFP ports. Therefore, it supports fiber uplinks for extended connectivity and integration into aggregation or core networks.
The switch delivers non-blocking throughput up to 10 Gbps with a switching capacity of 20 Gbps. As a result, it ensures smooth and reliable performance even in busy network environments.
