The Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 8 150W (SKU: ES-8-150W) is a compact, fully managed Layer 2 switch designed for enterprise, SMB, and WISP deployments. It delivers Gigabit switching with PoE+ support and a robust power budget, making it ideal for powering network devices in small to medium environments.
This switch features 8× Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, all supporting 802.3af/at PoE+ output. It provides a total PoE power budget of 150W. As a result, it can power access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices directly.
In addition, the ES-8-150W includes 2× Gigabit SFP ports. Therefore, it supports fiber uplinks for extended network connectivity and integration into larger infrastructures.
The switch runs EdgeSwitch firmware, offering advanced Layer 2 switching features such as VLANs, link aggregation (LACP), port isolation, and QoS. As a result, it enables efficient traffic management and network segmentation.
