The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro) is an enterprise-grade all-in-one gateway designed for unified network, security, and application management. It integrates routing, switching, security, and UniFi application hosting in a single 1U rack-mount platform.
The UDM-Pro features a high-performance security gateway with advanced Layer 3 routing and firewall capabilities. It supports deep packet inspection (DPI), intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS), and VLAN segmentation. As a result, it delivers secure and efficient traffic control for enterprise and SMB environments.
This device includes an integrated 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch for LAN connectivity. In addition, it provides 2× 10GbE SFP+ ports. Therefore, it supports high-speed uplinks, aggregation, and backbone connectivity.
For WAN connectivity, the system includes a Gigabit RJ45 WAN port and an SFP+ WAN port. This enables flexible internet connectivity and high-speed ISP integration.
The UDM-Pro includes a 3.5″ HDD bay for UniFi Protect storage. As a result, it supports NVR functionality for IP camera deployments. It also integrates UniFi OS, which hosts applications such as UniFi Network and UniFi Protect for centralized management.
The platform provides advanced management through a web interface and cloud access. It also supports remote monitoring, configuration, and firmware updates. Therefore, it simplifies network operations across multiple sites.
