It uses two 20 Gbps channels over duplex LC connectors, allowing 40 G traffic transmission without the need for 8-strand MPO cabling. This module supports transmission distances of up to 100 m on OM3 fiber and 150 m on OM4/OM5 fiber, making it ideal for high-speed uplinks, cross-connects, and server-to-switch links.
