The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4 (SKU: ER-4) is a compact, high-performance Gigabit router designed for enterprise, SMB, and advanced networking environments. It delivers efficient Layer 3 routing with hardware acceleration, making it suitable for edge, branch, and core network deployments.
This router features 3× Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 1× Gigabit SFP port. As a result, it supports flexible WAN, LAN, and fiber uplink configurations. It uses a multi-core processor with hardware offloading. Therefore, it enables high throughput and low-latency packet processing for demanding workloads.
